This morning I wanted to try drawing a difficult dynamic pose and I found this on Pintrest

The pose look so cool to draw and it fits for one of my original characters so I try a few attempts. It's difficult and I am missing some key details that will help me draw this pose faster and better but I'll keep on trying. Blocking does help a bit to understand the angle of the upper part of the torso and the whole twist of the torso

I had a busy day with work and home but with the limited freetime I had I drew these. I started to draw Toon Link, one without reference and the other with reference. This showed me that despite Wind Waker being one of my favorite Zelda games, my memory of how to draw the main character of the game is still a little off lol. The last two are more redesigns of two of my Ocs. To be frank I really don't like the redesigns so I am going to try again some other time with these two.

I'm testing out if I like hard shadows for my artstyle, atm I personally don't like it so I tried doing a in-between of light and dark for the last head (also some of the characters were just made up out of the blue while I was sketching)

I don't know, at one hand "What the hell did I make". At the other hand I now find alot of my old art charming to me and well our old art skills is what lead us to our current art skills don't you agree?

I am pretty sure the answer is everything lol, I just want to read any advice my fellow artists can share with me so I can improve for the better.

To be honest I don't how to draw this original character. I want to make this wild spiky hair like I see in many anime. He is a thief, and the mythical creature that I want his design to also be influenced is a Rakshasa from Hindu mythology. Rakshasas are demons that appear as Antagonists many Indian stories.

Any shared ideas for me to consider will be appreciated!
